Small frog: Don't cross the road, daddy!
Frog: Sorry, son, but I have to.
Jets of what seems to be blood, squirt from behind the TV set as it displays the frog being squished under a car tire.
Voice from TV: Daddy, nnoooo!
SFX: Sprotch SQUIRT
The walls behind the TV are covered in the fake blood. The TV reads: “Frogger The Movie, soon on your TV.”
Alana: What the heck? Did your TV just spring a leak?
Alfred: It is the new AmbiBlood system. Like Ambilight, but better. The only drawback is that the capsules need to be refilled after a few movies. And… the cleaning. That's also a drawback.

As in the intro of the Terminator 2 movie, a human skull is shown in a wasteland, with a robotic foot approaching with intent to crush it.
The image zooms out, showing a classic Terminator endoskeleton robot slipping on the undamaged skull, and falling.

The TV displays the SNORT brand logo.
Voice from TV: The new SNORT calcium tablets: make your bones indestructible!
Adil: I am seriously divided between hating and loving this ad. Maybe not everything sucks in this future.
Steve: I would hate it, for making no practical sense at all. I don't care about the strength of my dead skull.

Steve: Nice try, Max, but the only thing we have learned from future TV, is that it sucks even harder than ours.
Max: Well, we did learn that high-performance sports have become even unhealthier than they already were…
Heidi: Hey, look here…
Zhang: A landline telephone? They still exist in this time? Alfred, is this decorative?
Alfred: No, it really works. It was the only phone system we had after The Event, but now almost everyone uses smartphones.
Zhang: Hmm, history repeating.
Steve: They managed to rebuild society and technology so quickly, yet now everyone is dumb as a brick. It must have gone south rather fast. Why?
Heidi: I still cannot explain. But, this phone gives me an idea. I want to try something.
Max: Well, we did learn that high-performance sports have become even unhealthier than they already were…
Heidi: Hey, look here…

OIB-A271: Heidi? At last, you're back! I was extremely worried for those whole 12 minutes!
Heidi: Only 12 minutes? Wow, time scaling is slower than I expected, but that is good news: it means the entangled matter supply should last for a good while.
Back in the simulation…
Alana: You managed to regain contact?
Heidi: Yes. I am relying on a backdoor which I used during development, and which I can access through my virtual monitoring device, thanks to the existence of a wired telephone system in this simulated world.
Max: This reminds an awful lot of The Matrix… Can we now also exit through this telephone?
Heidi: Not a coincidence, it served as inspiration. But no, unfortunately at this point, all we get is regained communication.
Max: Bummer.
Voice: OIB-A271, can you hear me?
