Adil is zipping through a room filled with barrels and rods that emit light.
OIB-A271 (voice): You are now crossing the room of death. Keep going straight ahead at full speed.
Adil: Aye, captain!

Adil: I am at the controls. “Flow reversal – do not use while reactor is online.” That's the one, I guess?
OIB-A271 (voice): Wow, they even marked it, easier than I thought. Hit it!

Adil (voice): Nothing seems to happen. Now what?
OIB-A271: It will really pick up speed soon, you will notice. Now head to the shaft at maximum speed, and execute the rest of the plan, timing will be perfect. Mind that there is no intercom there, so this is the last opportunity for me to say… good luck.

Adil zips down the ventilation shaft and grabs his backpack.
Adil: Yes, my grenades are still here indeed!

Adil arrives behind the others, Heidi and Max turn their heads, surprised. Ultrax starts to glitch on the screen while the rest of the room becomes darker.
Ultrax: What… What is going on? Power is dropping? Wait… you! It can't be!
Adil: Hi there!

Adil pulls the pins on all his grenades and tosses them around.
Ultrax: This is impossible! You cannot have reached the reactor! Only my robots can!
Adil: Prepare for a big boom, guys!
SFX: click

Big explosion with chunks flying around, exhibiting the respawn effect.
SFX: KABOOM!
Ultrax (voice): NNOOOOOO!

The team again spawns on the street, at the same spot they first entered the future simulation.
SFX: Whooshhhh…

Zhang: I'll be damned… Whatever you did, it worked. But, now what?
Adil: Wait for it…

The team watches how a small mushroom cloud in the distance lights up the night sky above the city.
SFX: BRRROMMMM…

Heidi: How did you manage to blow up the reactor?
Adil: Through the magic of cafestol, baby!
Steve: That stuff actually had an effect? Are you kidding?
Adil: Well, you did see how fast I could move. Alas, I lost my super power in the respawn…

Heidi: It was a risky move. If Ultrax was right about all this being real, the quantum link could have been destroyed with him, and we could all have either woken up, or ended up brain-dead. Neither happened, so he must have been lying, or the endpoint is somewhere else.
